We are celebrating the official launch of PeerAtlas, a peer-reviewed medical algorithm wiki, by hosting a contest for the best medical algorithm. The winning algorithm will be posted on the homepage and the winner will receive $200 via Paypal or Google Wallet. Second place will receive $50, and third place will receive $25. The process is very simple:
STEP 1: Create an account STEP 2: Create an algorithm on a topic of your choice. Algorithms can only be created on the desktop or tablet site STEP 3: Submit your algorithm for peer review
Algorithms must be submitted for peer review to be eligible. After you submit an algorithm we will send a confirmation email informing you that you've been entered into the contest. The contest ends at 10PM EST on 2/20/2016 and the winner will be selected on 2/21/2016 by the founder (Brad Mattson MD) and co-founder (Colin Closser MS4).
EXPERT TIP: Algorithms with pictures and references are most likely to win. Pictures and references can be added to any box of an algorithm by clicking on the paperclip in the upper left corner.
We look forward to your entries and hope you enjoy using our new software. If you have questions please email us at [email protected] or use the contact form at the bottom of the homepage.
